Farewell Parade in honour of outgoing Director General CISF Shri Arvind Ranjan

New Delhi, 30.04.2015: A grand farewell parade was organized at CISF Campus 5th Reserve Battalion to bid a farewell to the outgoing Director General Shri Arvind Ranjan. Shri Arvind Ranjan joined Indian Police Service in the year 1977 and was allotted Kerala Cadre. He is retiring on superannuation after completion of 38 years of service on 30.04.2015. He served in various ranks and capacities in Kerala State Police and on Central Deputation to Special Protection Group & Border Security Force. Before taking over the charge of Director General CISF, he was Director General of National Security Guards. He assumed the charge of Director General, CISF on 26th December, 2013 and led the force for about 16 months.

On this occasion ShriArvind Ranjan, DG CISF released the CD of a film made on Parkour Training for CISF Personnel.

On the occasion, Shri R K Pachnanda, Addl Director General CISF applauded the initiatives taken by Shri Arvind Ranjan as Director General. He said that CISF has made a significant progress under his able command and assured him that the Force will continue to follow the traditions and guidelines drawn by him.

Addressing the farewell parade, Shri Arvind Ranjan said that it was a matter of immense pride for him to lead the elite force like CISF. He urged all the officers and its men to maintain the pace of the progress in CISF. At last, he wished all officers & men and their family members a very happy and peaceful future.
