BSF men will set ‘LIMCA BOOK OF RECORD’ in tree plantation

Border Security Force have been taking active part every year for planting plants to promote awareness on the importance of preserving the biodiversity; the need to identity problems related to the environment and ways to take corrective.


First time in the history, Border Security Force is going to organize a Campaign for planting saplings at all the BSF Frontiers Headquarters, Sector HQrs, Training Institutions, Battalion HQrs, all Border Outposts and Force Headquarters on 19th August 2014 at 1000 Hrs to 1030 Hrs (30 Minutes) to create a record in ‘LIMCA Book of Records’.


Shri D K Pathak, IPS, Director General, BSF has consented to be the Chief Guest to grace the occasion and he will also planting a sapling on 19th Aug 2014  (1000 hrs) at BSF Ashwini Officers Mess at Nizamuddin, New Delhi (near Humayun Tomb, Nizamuddin).
