The Chinese dragon is spewing fire again. Recently, China had objected to the construction of a road by India near Demchok in Ladakh. In August, it was reported that thousands of Chinese troops had been stationed in the Gilgit-Baltistan area of Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir. In September, China refused a visa to Lieutenant General B. S. Jaswal, GOC-in-C Northern Command, on the ground that he was responsible for the defence of Jammu and Kashmir, which is considered disputed territory by Pakistan.
