Jay Panda, BJP National Vice-President and Prabhari for Assam & Delhi, led a multi-party delegation to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and Algeria as part of post-Operation Sindoor outreach.
The delegation defended India’s right to respond to terror attacks and also proposed economic sanctions on Pakistan for cross-border terrorism.
All four Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states responded positively, acknowledging India’s “dilemma” and expressing explicit support for measures against terror financing.
“I and everybody in my delegation…considered this visit to be extremely successful because of the support we received explicitly,” said Mr Panda, underscoring that building consensus is a work in progress.
This diplomatic effort reinforces India’s strategic engagement with the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and demonstrates our commitment to using economic policy to combat terrorism.
